Kione Wilkins

Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Kione qualified from St George’s University medical School 2009. He had being working in a range of medical settings in the NHS before realising his passion for assessing and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions when he started working in private practice. For the last 8 years Kione has been working in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sport injuries. Working with amateur, semi-professional and professional athletes across, foot, rugby, cricket and athletics. Kione went on the be  a senior physiotherapist and the lead physiotherapist at Halsa Physiotherapy

Kione now specialises in orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy, heading up an injury to 5k running club, sports specific rehabilitation, tendon rehabilitation and shockwave therapy service. He is passionate about helping people achieve their goals and get them back to peak physical fitness whether their aim is simply pain relief,  being able to enjoy an active lifestyle or run an ultramarathon.Kione is a qualified Pilates equipment and matwork instructor. He teaches men only group classes for Pilates with HIIT [High intensity interval training], specialist running and Pilates classes and Pilates for sedentary desk workers.

A career highlight for Kione was working with the development squad of middle distance runners for the 2012 London Olympics, as well as working at a residential basketball camps  as a coach and physiotherapist in the UK and USA. Outside of work Kione likes combine calisthenics and resistance training and is current working on beating his Park Run PB. He also likes to spend as much quality time with his family as he can.
