Pilates

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps increase flexibility and build strength in all muscle groups. It puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment as well as breathing to enhance body awareness and increase postural stability.

Pilates flexible system allows for exercises to be modified to suit individual needs and can be tailored to different levels. Intensity can be increased over time as the body conditions and adapts to the exercises.

At WPPC we take a personalised approach to Pilates. We keep our classes small to allow us to get to know your body well and what exercise suits you best. Our Physiotherapy and Pilates teams work closely together to tailor programmes while accounting for injury and pathology. Most of our physiotherapists have a Pilates background.
