Welcome to four evidence-based New Year resolutions…
1. GET MORE SLEEP
This will improve your health, creativity, productivity and sense of wellbeing.
Try going to bed 30 minutes earlier each night.
Book in for a wellness session with one of the expert chartered physiotherapists at WPPC.
2. MOVE MORE
Do anything! Dance to music, stretch while reaching for dishes, squat while emptying the dishwasher, do some yoga, cycle, walk, swim, run!
Think about buying a standing desk, if you have a sedentary work life. (Although you then MUST know how to stand CORRECTLY.)

Try starting with 5 minutes at the start of the day. Learn how to breathe properly and effectively.
Come and learn how to meditate at WPPC. (Wednesdays in January and March 7am-7:50am, and by appointment. Reservation essential.)
4. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR NUTRITION
Eat healthily and at the right times of the day.
Try not to eat between meals.
Plan ahead with meals.
Book in with WPPC nutritionist, Natalia Traxel, and be shown how to make a healthy breakfast, plan a work lunch and be taught how to avoid the pitfalls of reaching for sugary/carbohydrate comfort foods.
