Olivia is a Chartered Physiotherapist graduating from King’s College London. She has an interest in a range of musculoskeletal injuries including post-operative and sporting injuries. Since graduating, she has worked in the private sector rehabilitating a wide range of clients including elite athletes, military, post-operative patients as well as those who have just started to return to sports.
Olivia is a physiotherapist at Esher rugby club and has been for the last three seasons. She works with both their 15’s and 7’s team. She has also assisted various rugby seven’s teams including South Africa, Fiji and England and has had the opportunity to travel to some of locations of the Sevens World Series with them. Although she has a passion for rugby, Olivia is interested in all sports and is keen to ensure that your body’s biomechanics are correct in order to ensure you are ready to return to your sport as quickly as possible.
She uses a variety of techniques including acupuncture, k-taping, strapping, electrotherapy, soft tissue work, osteopathic manipulation techniques, strength and conditioning as well as educating you about your condition and how best to manage it. She is currently in the process of completing her diploma in musculoskeletal medicine. She is a mat-work Pilates instructor teaching one on one clinical Pilates as well as Pilates to groups. She also teaches over 60’s fitness classes at local GP centres as well.
Olivia is a keen netball player, but also regularly attends spinning classes, reformer Pilates classes as well as regularly swims and goes to the gym. She has a passion for learning and is determined to get to the source of your injury to ensure you receive the best possible outcome from physiotherapy.
